2016 Fall Talk Story Highlights
AGA Hawaii had an engaging evening with UH Manoa and UH West Oahu students at the fall Talk Story event on October 25, 2016. A few of our members met with students at the Shidler College of Business to help them become aware of the career opportunities in government service that are available to accounting students, including the benefits of a career in government service. 2016 Government Professional Accounting Seminar Highlights
AGA Hawaii Chapter hosted a successful 2016 Government Professional Accounting Seminar on September 7-8 at the Hale Koa Hotel. Speakers from various backgrounds covered key areas impacting governmental professions including Yellow and Green Book updates, OMB Circular A-123, current and upcoming GASB pronouncements, and more. We also celebrated our 40th year with special guest speaker, Doug Glenn, the AGA National President. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success.
